During my first Maconomy implementation in 2001, I accumulated a number of resources which have been useful for subsequent implementations. Initially these consisted of import template files, which I carried around on discs and memory sticks. As my experience grew, so did my collection of files, and in 2005 I decided to move all my resources onto a private website. At a stroke, I could access all of my templates and other files without having to carry around any storage media.
As I continued working on Maconomy systems, I decided to make these resources generally available to anyone who was working on Maconomy – hence this site. It hasn't just been a question of making the access public though; because my original site was intended just for my own use, it grew in a haphazard way, with little explanation as to what things were – I knew where everything was, and what it was, and spent little time on organising the files and pages logically. Now I am opening access, I have stripped the site back to its bare bones and am rebuilding it page by page, file by file. This all takes time, and will be a work in progress for some time to come before the site contains everything I intend it to.
When it is finished, this site will be a useful collection of resources for anyone involved in the decision to implement Maconomy, anyone on a Maconomy implementation team, anyone working within a finance department of a company that is implementing or has implemented Maconomy, anyone interested in learning more about Maconomy, Maconomy system administrators, and Maconomy system implementation consultants.
